KiuwFit (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by Kiuw Technologies Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the KiuwFit mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you use social sign-in (Google or Apple), your name and profile photo as provided by those services.

Health & Fitness Data: We collect workout logs, nutrition data, body measurements, and daily targets that you enter into the app. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced to our secure servers.

Photos: If you use the AI food scanner, photos are processed to identify food items and estimate nutritional content. Photos are sent to Google's Gemini AI for analysis and are not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the KiuwFit app experience
• To sync your data across devices when you sign in
• To generate AI-powered food analysis and coaching insights
• To send workout reminders and notifications (with your permission)

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. If you create an account, your data is synced to Supabase, a secure cloud database with row-level security policies. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication and data storage
• Google Gemini AI — Food photo analysis and coaching insights
• Google Sign-In — Optional authentication
• Apple Sign-In — Optional authentication (iOS)

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide app functionality.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Export all your data from the app at any time (Settings > Export Data)
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account)
• Use the app without creating an account (data stays on your device only)

7. Children's Privacy

KiuwFit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
